In April of 2007, the Genealogy Library Collection of the local chapter of the DAR, was moved from Walker Library, Howard Payne University to our Genealogy and Local History Library Branch, to better accommodate research by individuals.

There are approximately 1,400 pieces of research material which includes books, periodicals and the DAR Lineage Collection.

Those interested in joining the Daughters of the American Revolution, should come by our library, where assistance and information are available.
