a tribute to the veterans buried in Greenleaf Cemetery

13, 2013 : We had
our regular monthly meeting at the Genealogy Library.
If you weren't with us we missed you and you missed your
chance at the door prize. There will be door prize
drawings at every regular monthly meeting
indefinitely. After a short "tending to
business" session, there was a program presented by
Clay Riley. The material covered was the early
photos of Brownwood presented as slides on the overhead
widescreen hdtv/monitor. Clay also had photos of
some early settlers of Brownwood and their homes.
Thanks to Clay for a very interesting program.
The
next meeting is June 10, 2013.
A
very nice program will be presented by member group One.
The Genealogy and Local History Branch of the
Brownwood Public Library will be open on Tuesday through
Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.. Should you be coming from out of town and would
like access to the library's resources on Monday or Saturday, please
call 325-646-6006 or email us at
least two weeks in
advance and we will make arrangements to have a PVGS
Volunteer meet you at the library.
